Achieve Performance Psychology: Expert and Personalized Testing
For athletes and business professionals, understanding how your mind works is a key to unlocking your full potential.
We’re proud to offer psychological testing services (including specific testing for ADHD and learning disabilities) that gives you the clarity you need to perform at your best within academics, athletics, or your career.
When it comes to understanding yourself or your child, an accurate evaluation with a personal touch is crucial. At Achieve Performance Psychology, we provide specialized testing for children (age 7+), adolescents, and adults. Unlike large clinics with long waitlists and one-size-fits-all approaches, we focus on what truly matters: you.
Who We Serve
-
Whether you're a young athlete or competing at the collegiate level, you know that performance isn't just about physical strength. It's about mental focus, resilience, and strategy.
ADHD: An ADHD diagnosis can explain difficulties with focus during practice, following complex game plans, or managing emotions under pressure. Our testing helps athletes and their families understand these challenges and provides a clear path to developing effective coping strategies.
Learning Disabilities: A learning disability may affect an athlete's ability to absorb coaching instructions, study complex playbooks, or keep up with academic demands. A diagnosis can lead to crucial academic and athletic accommodations, allowing you to excel on and off the field.
Differential Diagnoses and Diagnostic Clarification: Performance on the field or court isn't just physical—it's deeply connected to mental health. Because some mental health conditions share common symptoms (e.g., inattention, poor focus, or irritability can be seen in ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma), a simple observation may not be enough. A psychological assessment using standardized tests can provide diagnostic clarification by helping to distinguish subtle differences and identify the primary causes of an athlete's challenges. This clarification is not just for a label, but a roadmap to effective treatment.
Our comprehensive assessments and recommendations are tailored to the unique demands of athletes, helping you transform potential challenges into personal strengths.

In the fast-paced business world, a clear mind is your most valuable asset. Psychological testing can provide actionable insights to help you thrive in your professional life and also at home.
ADHD: For professionals, undiagnosed ADHD can manifest as difficulty with deadlines, disorganization, or inconsistent performance. A diagnosis is not a label but a tool. It helps you advocate for yourself and implement strategies like time management techniques or environmental adjustments to create a work environment where you can succeed.
Learning Disabilities: A learning disability can impact a professional's ability to process written information, communicate effectively in meetings, or excel in training programs. Our testing can identify these issues and help you secure reasonable accommodations that level the playing field, ensuring your talent and expertise are never overlooked.
Differential Diagnoses and Diagnostic Clarification: Sustained high performance in the professional world isn't just about technical skill—it's deeply connected to mental clarity, executive function, and resilience. Because some mental health challenges share common symptoms (e.g., difficulty focusing, poor concentration, chronic procrastination, or irritability can be seen in ADHD, generalized anxiety, burnout, and depression), simple observation is sometimes insufficient. A comprehensive psychological assessment using standardized, objective tests can provide diagnostic clarification by helping to distinguish subtle differences and identify the primary root causes of a professional's struggles. This clarification is not just for a label, but a roadmap to effective treatment and professional optimization.
We provide a detailed assessment report with practical recommendations to help you navigate your career with confidence and clarity.

School can be a challenge, and for many students, difficulties with academics or behavior can be a sign of an underlying issue. Psychological testing provides a detailed roadmap of a student's unique cognitive and academic profile. This process is about more than just a diagnosis; it’s about unlocking your child's learning potential.
ADHD: A diagnosis of ADHD can explain why a student might struggle to stay organized, have difficulty completing homework, or be easily distracted in class. Our testing helps identify these patterns and provides the necessary documentation to secure school accommodations, like extended time on tests, preferential seating, and other adjustments that create a supportive learning environment.
Learning Disabilities: A learning disability can make reading, writing, or math feel incredibly difficult, despite a student's best efforts. We can identify specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia. Once identified, our detailed reports provide schools with the information they need to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 Plans, ensuring your child gets targeted, effective support.
Differential Diagnoses and Diagnostic Clarification: Sustained academic performance isn't just about effort and intelligence—it's deeply connected to mental clarity, executive function, and resilience. Because some academic or mental health challenges share common symptoms (e.g., difficulty focusing, poor concentration, chronic procrastination, or irritability can be seen in ADHD, generalized anxiety, burnout, and depression), simple observation is sometimes insufficient. A comprehensive psychological assessment using standardized, objective tests can provide diagnostic clarification by helping to distinguish subtle differences and identify the primary root causes of a student’s struggles. This clarification is not just for a label, but a roadmap to effective treatment and academic success.
Testing gives students and parents the clarity and confidence to advocate for their needs. It transforms school from a source of frustration into a place where your child can truly thrive and feel understood.

Our Testing Process
Our Psychological Assessment process includes a series of three to four appointments.
We start with an intake session (60-90 minutes) which can be held in-person or virtually.
Then, we have two to three in-person testing sessions held over three-hour testing blocks. These sessions are scheduled over multiple days to minimize fatigue.
Finally, two to three weeks after testing, we have a feedback session to discuss your results, any diagnoses, and our recommendations for maximizing the potential in your unique mind. You receive a final report shortly after our meeting.
Fees and Payment
The total fee for the psychological assessment is $2,500.
$1000 is due at the initial intake session.
The remaining $1500 is due at the feedback session.
This total fee encompasses all fees associated with the assessment including the intake and feedback sessions, testing materials, scoring and interpretation of the assessment battery, the final report, and the report writing time. Payment is required as outlined above.
