Sport and Performance Psychology

Parent Support and Training

Achieve Performance Psychology uses evidence-based approaches and strategies to ignite your psychological power to create effective practice and training leading to optimal performance.

Achieve assess your mental strengths and athletic barriers to create an individualized mental training plan. We will work as a team to take your performance to the next level.

You will work one on one and/or family sessions with a sport psychologist to learn strategies and skills you can immediately begin applying to sports, academics, work, and social situations. Sessions will last approximately 50 minutes to an hour and be held in-person or via teleconference.

We offer parent management training and support for parents and guardians navigating the athletic world. We will assist you in learning how to prevent burnout in your child, understanding your role in their athletic journey, strategies for what to say in that lovely car ride home after a tough game or practice, preparing for the collegiate recruitment process, and building a happy and winning mindset for your child. Let us help you start achieving your highest aspirations.

Team Sessions

Services for teams include single to recurrent on-site or virtual performance enhancement mental training for athletes, coaches, managers, athletic administration, and medical staff.

Achieve Performance Psychology works with you to develop a comprehensive and individualized mental training program to fit the needs of your team.

Team and group work helps to enhance overall enjoyment on and off the field, while establishing foundational skills for your group to achieve their individual and team goals.

Injury Recovery

Treating injuries takes both healing the body and the mind. Certain psychological responses can hinder the healing process while others will enhance positive outcomes.

No matter if you are are an elite athlete returning from injury or someone going through the rehabilitation process after surgery, you do not have to do it alone. Achieve will work with you to motivate, build resilience, discuss athletic identity, prevent fear of reinjury, create psychological readiness to return to sport and activies, and set realistic expectations throughout the recovery process.

Coaches

Be the example. Achieve Performance Psychology works with coaches to help them develop and align their team values and establish a culture of growth and prosperity. Coaches learn leadership and sport psychology techniques to motivate, connect, and elevate your team’s success.

Executive Coaching

Executive coaching can have many benefits for business professionals which include but not limited to: Increasing productivity, overall performance-enhancement, expanding skill sets, learning effective communication, improving culture and team morale, developing and sustaining consistent confidence, awareness of distress behavior, and emotional regulation.
